The Business Development Associate Director drives the go-to-market and sales process of the z-Movi product in both Industry (BioTechs & Pharma) and Academia. Supported by experienced application scientists and technical sales support, the Business Development Associate Director will develop both commercial accounts as well as strategic collaborations with key opinion leaders in the field of (onco) immunology and selected BioTech and Pharma companies.

The Business Development Associate Director is involved in establishing excellent relationships with potential users of LUMICKS technology, through outstanding communication skills on sales and technical topics. You are responsible for developing business opportunities by interacting with potential customers in meetings and (conference) presentations. You connect easily to PhD and PI level researchers in different areas of fundamental biology through a clear understanding of their technical and application needs. You use your hands-on technical skills to perform test experiments requested by potential customers. All-in-all you act as the trusted advisor to potential customers throughout the evaluation process.

This position is based in the Netherlands, the US or in China.

Marketing

As the marketing intern, you will be responsible for setting up the marketing strategy in China and for growing our customer base in the Asia Pacific Region. Together with the customer success team, you will create high-quality and high-impact content to engage our customers, build a strong brand in China and create interest for LUMICKS’ instruments in the region. You will join our team in the HQ in Amsterdam for a minimum of 5 months.

As Field Service Engineer you are responsible for the installation and service of LUMICKS complex equipment at customer sites. In this role, you communicate directly with the customer and you represent the company to the customer. LUMICKS is a fast-growing and fast-learning organization. We continuously incorporate the learnings and experience from the field installations and service actions into our product design. You contribute to the development process by giving input to improve ease of installation and product robustness for the next generation of products. The role will involve travel to customer sites around the world.

Research & Development

The R&D Technician Immunology is a critical role in the development of LUMICKS’s business and technology. The Technician will join our Immunology Workflow Development team, in a role which will focus on driving expansion of our z-Movi assay portfolio through the execution of laboratory work. Together with the z-Movi team, you are aiming to improve the quality of cancer treatments with immunotherapy. We are looking for a candidate experienced in biological assays with a strong background in cell-based assays, like Cell Culture. You will work with different cell types like adherent and suspension cells and even with primary cell cultures. A successful candidate will be a technically-skilled, hands-on, detail-oriented, thorough biologist with a commitment to scientific excellence and the ability to work cross-functionally to execute complex

As the Regional Business Director, you will assume overall responsibility for the sales and pipeline growth of all LUMICKS products throughout the Asia Pacific Region. LUMICKS is looking for a passionate developer with strong software engineering skills. Together with our software team you will be responsible for the design, development and maintenance of the advanced microscopy software for our products. You will be involved in all aspects of the software project: UX design, implementation of the architecture, hardware integration and abstraction, high performance processing, testing, issue tracking and software engineering processes.
