Your duties will be to (i) provide support and assist with daily logistics that are essential to keeping the office running smoothly for a happy team and (ii) to support the CEO, CFO and HR & Recruitment with administration, reporting and procedures. As Field Service Engineer you are responsible for installation and service of LUMICKS complex equipment at customer sites. In this role, you communicate directly with the customer and you represent the company to the customer. LUMICKS is a fast growing and fast learning organization. We continuously incorporate the learnings and experience from the field installations and service actions into our product design. You contribute to the development process by giving input to improve ease of installation and product robustness for the next generation of products. The role will involve travel to customer sites around the world and you will be based at LUMICKS headquarters in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. This role reports to the COO.

LUMICKS is looking for a passionate Qt/C++ developer and UI/UX designer. Together with our software team you will be responsible for the design, development and maintenance of the advanced microscopy software for our products.

Together with our software team you will be responsible for the design, development and maintenance of the advanced microscopy software for our products. You will be involved in all aspects of the software project: UX design, implementation of the architecture, hardware integration and abstraction, high performance processing, testing, issue tracking and software engineering processes.

As an Application Scientist you are part of LUMICKS’ Business Development team and develop long-term business potential by exploring new areas of application for LUMICKS’ instruments for single molecule research.

You are responsible for developing business opportunities by interacting with potential customers in meetings and (conference) presentations. You connect easily to PhD and PI level researchers in different areas of fundamental biology through a clear understanding of their technical and application needs. You use your hands-on technical skills to perform test experiments requested by potential customers. All-in-all you act as the trusted advisor to potential customers throughout the evaluation process.

You join the Business Development team in the HQ in Amsterdam and have a field position in the EU and China.

Together with the Office manager, you’ll support the day-to-day operations of the global LUMICKS team. Our ideal candidate must have strong organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, is service oriented, and can work autonomously. LUMICKS is looking for a talented student as an Assistant to the CFO (internship). As Assistant to the CFO, you get the unique opportunity to be closely involved in the decision-making process of a rapidly growing international business. The Assistant works closely together with the CFO and manages and supports in all aspects of finance, including financial analysis, accounting, treasury, tax, and strategy.

The Assistant to the CFO is an important player in the European team, reporting to the CFO and will provide financial analysis to management. This person will be the liaison between the different business units in Amsterdam and US.

To be successful in this internship, you need to be technically strong, driven in delivering the best and most efficient results. You are innovative and can communicate complex accounting topics to all levels within the company.

As Marketing Specialist you are part of our Marketing team and contribute to the overall marketing activities. You are responsible for planning, building and implementing LUMICKS’ communications and Public Relations strategies. You are an integral part of the development and execution of marketing campaigns for new and existing products. You join the LUMICKS team in the HQ in Amsterdam.

Reporting directly to the Sales Director you will assume overall responsibility for the sales of all LUMICKS products throughout the Northeast or Southest USA. You drive sales opportunities forward in both industry (pharma, biotech) and academics, while working with the Business Development team in the US & Europe to create pipeline, and teaming up with product managers to execute a successful global Sales and Marketing strategy.

You will be among the first of the LUMICKS US office in Cambridge, MA and play an important role in shaping the office and team with ample growth opportunities.

As a Technology Development Engineer you contribute to the technology development projects of (Super)C-Trap™, future prototypes and products, and will have the unique opportunity to grow the product’s full potential. You will work closely with other LUMICKS Technology Development Engineers, the Technology lead, and (Super)C-Trap™ product manager in realizing the technology roadmap.

In-house you will work with affiliated professors, software developers, an Electronics Workshop and LUMICKS’ design/engineering team for creating prototypes and any potential custom electronics or custom parts. Externally you will coordinate co-development projects with partners in both academics and industry.

You connect easily to PhD and PI level researchers in different areas of (bio)physics and are able to use your hands-on technical skills to develop, design and test components and set-ups.
