Business Development Field Scientist -Dynamic-single-molecule (Eastern US)
LUMICKS is currently hiring a Business Development Field Scientist, Dynamic Single Molecule (DSM) to lead Market Development and Demand Creation for LUMICKS technologies in the Americas region. Working closely with the regional Sales and FAS teams to help progress the sales process from SPL to TQ and beyond, the BD Field Scientist will also devote time to market sensing activities; identifying applications, and researching and profiling areas that are best fit for expansion. The BD Field Scientist will share market and customer insight with Product Management and Marketing functions, and lead collaboration efforts with regional Key Opinion Leaders.
Provide customer technical support prior to and subsequent to sale to improve customer loyalty and satisfaction and support Advanced Bio Systems sales
Disseminate new techniques and technology impacting Single Molecule and other relevant applications
Assist with the creation of training curriculum, internal and external
Establish and maintain ongoing relationships with KOL’s and Innovators in the field
Research, evaluate, and recommend innovations applicable to LUMICKS target markets and LUMICKS products
Promote LUMICKS products and applications via Social Media
Organize and oversee LUMICKS’ involvement in Courses and Workshops at venues such as MBL (Marine Biological Labs)

5+ years’ experience in advanced BioScience technologies
D. in Biophysics, BioSciences, Bioengineering, or Physics with optics specialty preferred
Microsoft applications (e.g. Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Extensive knowledge of Single Molecule and advanced BioScience technologies
Extensive knowledge in optics, imaging and software applications
Applicable knowledge and experience in the fields of Biochemistry, DNA studies, and Protein Biology
Excellent quantitative skills
Excellent presentation skills
Excellent communication skills
