Associate Director, Business Development

Full-time position

Introduction

The Business Development Associate Director drives the go-to-market and sales process of the z-Movi product in both Industry (BioTechs & Pharma) and Academia. Supported by experienced application scientists and technical sales support, the Business Development Associate Director will develop both commercial accounts as well as strategic collaborations with key opinion leaders in the field of (onco) immunology and selected BioTech and Pharma companies.

The Business Development Associate Director is involved in establishing excellent relationships with potential users of LUMICKS technology, through outstanding communication skills on sales and technical topics. Analytical skills and excellent oral and written communication capabilities are required. Intensive travel is part of the daily routine, together with operating our highly sophisticated instrument in research labs internationally.

What are my tasks & responsibilities?

  • Developing new customer relationships and maintaining existing accounts in industry (Biotech and Pharma) and academia
  • Driving sales and pipeline growth in assigned territory and expanding brand awareness
  • Working with business development and marketing to plan and execute strategic sales projects
  • Representing the company at workshops and conferences
  • Provide feedback from the field to sales management about market dynamics and product performance

  • Ability to understand our customers’ needs and how LUMICKS’ instruments can have positive impact
  • High affinity for Immunology or Oncology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and professional demeanor
  • Motivated, self driven, goal oriented, energetic work ethic and an outstanding team-player
  • Strong organizational skills, and ability to multitask
  • Ability and interest to travel extensively; travel requirement 50%
  • Sales experience in BioTech/Pharma, pref serving ImmunoOncology customers
  • MSc or PhD, in (Molecular or Medical) Biology, or related sciences with a main focus in Immunology or Oncology
