As sourcing officer, you participate in R&D projects and manage development suppliers to oversee the contracting, deliverables on time, quality and cost and prepare handover to production partner. You manage strategic and bottleneck suppliers on QLTC (Quality, Logistic, Technology, and Cost) to ensure LUMICKS’s growth. You understand how to manage the trade-off between time to market and cost while maintaining high-quality standards. You identify improvement opportunities in cost and quality. You are a part of Operations and will join a sourcing team with one colleague and sourcing manager.
Development supplier selection and management for new product development. You need to manage this over all critical parameters, not only cost.
NPI project phase in and transfer to a manufacturing partner.
Manage strategic and bottleneck suppliers to ensure product ramp-up and volume growth.
Supply contract negotiations for strategic and bottleneck suppliers.
Annual supplier negotiation.
What about my skills & competencies?
University degree (mechanical/electrical/physics/industrial/business) or a combination of education and experience prove the skills required.
Preferably specialized purchasing training (Nevi/Purspective).
5+ years experience in sourcing and/or project management role.
Excellent communicator on MT and operational level, understand influencing stakeholders.
