Regional Sales Team Manager

Full-Time position


Are you a motivated, intelligent, creative and hardworking person that enjoys being apart of a young and highly-energic environment, then we are looking for you as our Regional Sales Team Manager, Single Molecule Technologies in our US Office. You will assume overall responsibility for the sales and pipeline growth of all LUMICKS’ single molecule research portfolio throughout the United States. Reporting directly to the Business Director and working in collaboration with our Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for growing and developing your sales team consisting out of account representatives and managers. You will drive sales strategy, pipeline growth, partnerships and opportunities forward in both industry (pharma, biotech) and academia through working with your team and leadership.

What are my tasks & responsibilities?

  • Lead and oversee complex sales cycles with multi-stakeholder customer relations in Industry and Academia;
  • Ensure customer success and maintain customer satisfaction in the region;
  • Advise and execute on long-term sales and pipeline growth strategy;
  • Ensure high quality in contracts and customer facing documentation product proposals and perform diligent contract review;
  • Work with business development and marketing teams to plan and execute strategic sales projects;
  • Hire, lead, train, and develop a successful team of account representatives and account managers;
  • Drive team culture and foster an environment for personal development and eagerness to perform.
  • Provide feedback from the field to sales management about market dynamics and product performance;
  • Manage designated CRM to track and follow up on all leads, and accounts; create productivity and trend reports;
  • Leading advance deal negotiations and participating in discussions with key decision makers.

What about my skills & competencies?

  • Master’s Degree in Biology, Engineering, Finance or related sciences;
  • 5+ years in biotech instrumentation sales and managing a team;
  • Ability to understand our customers’ needs and how LUMICKS’ instruments can have positive impact on their research;
  • Ability to plan and execute autonomously, while also working closely with the rest of the team;
  • Leadership qualities of maintaining a motivated and engaging sales team;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and professional demeanor;
  • Strong organizational skills, and ability to multitask;
  • Ability and interest to travel extensively; travel requirement 30-50%;
  • Motivated, self-driven, goal oriented and energetic work ethic;
  • Demonstrated negotiation and influencing skills in a deal setting to creatively solve problems with partner companies and close deals that create a win-win relationship for both parties.
