Product Marketing Manager – Dynamic Single-Molecule

Full-Time Position

Introduction

The Product Marketing Manager – dynamic single-molecule will be working in the R&D team. You will create marketing & Go-to-market strategy plans for new and existing products and customer segments. On a daily basis, you will connect with the marketing department to align on the long-term strategy and successful commercialization of the product. You will translate high-level value propositions into value propositions for segments that are the key input to create all outbound marketing material.

What are my tasks & responsibilities?

  • Translate high-level value propositions into value propositions/(Challenger) insights for customer (sub)segments that are the key input to create all outbound marketing material 
  • Marketing & Go-to-market strategy plans (for new and existing products and customer segments).
  • Drive the product go-to-market plan by translating the DSM Strategy into measurable tactics for the Marketing and Sales teams.
  • Closely monitor the results of the Sales and Marketing pipeline to ensure effective execution of the Product Strategy and align with Product Management to adjust tactics or strategy when needed  
  • Ensure effective lead mining of identified target markets to create the marketing leads funnel
  • Provide input to product development R&D projects by defining the commercial deliverables to ensure successful marketing and commercialization of the product 
  • Responsible for product launch plans (activities for a product-market introduction) and then drive the execution of the Go-to-Market plan. 
  • Own and maintain the Sales Toolkit (Why-Buy presentations with the Product Management team, Price Calculator, Quote, Proof data, etc.).
  • Responsible for identifying and executing marketing materials that are needed to successfully address DSM target markets.
  • Support Product Management in Sales and Marketing team training on production vision, value, and messaging.

What about my skills & competencies?

  • Over 6 years of experience in product marketing and/or product management in life science technology with a focus on product marketing.
  • Knowledge of the DSM academia market segment.
  • Managed both instruments and reagents in your portfolio.
  • Excellent English (written and verbal) communication skills.
  • A team player, able to motivate and align stakeholders, organized, and independent.
  • Minimum MSc in Biology or Biophysics.
  • Traveling internationally for up 10% of the time.
