This role is the owner of the tactical global marketing plan for the Cell Avidity business unit, developing and then driving the execution of the plan. You will work as the link between the business unit, supporting strategy development and the translation of this strategy into the market. To do this, you will create marketing campaigns, content and tools to impact all parts of the customer journey to support LUMICKS to achieve its strategic and revenue goals.
You will work as part of a multi discipline team, interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
Create the annual global tactical product marketing plan for the allocated business unit, working with all relevant internal and external stakeholders, including key activities, content, objectives, metrics and budgets to support the retention of existing and the acquisition of new customers;
Drive the production of customer focused content, including the creation of copy and working with various internal and external resources;
Own the customer journey from awareness through consideration, conversion, retention and advocacy;
Execute the global product marketing plan according to budget with a focus on customer-, or workflow-specific segments and personas;
Develop content and manage the collateral creation process to support the execution of the plan;
Responsible for compliance with revenue targets and strategic objectives detailed in the marketing plan;
Actively engage in and manage the delivery of the marketing plan via the different marketing functions and commercial teams where applicable. Act as a project manager in a multi-disciplined, cross functional team;
Work with regional marketing functions to optimize and adapt global marketing activities to the specific regions and develop region specific marketing activities;
Actively measure and report on marketing activities, creating dashboards, proactively informing the organization;
Analyze marketing effectiveness for regional marketing activities and define corresponding measures;
Proactively act as the link between the BU and the marketing team, supporting the development of global strategy and then translating that strategy into the global tactical plan;
Provide insights and market leadership to Business Units in the development of innovative products and portfolio strategies, as well as positioning and messaging concepts;
Ensure leads are captured from all global marketing activities are systematically, managed, and directed based upon lead score and grade.
What about my skills & competencies?
Completed (Master’s or Bachelor’s) degree in Science or a Science and business combination;
Several years of experience in a similar role in B2B Marketing or other B2B commercial role;
Longstanding experience in Marketing or Sales, including working in small and mid-size, ideally cross-cultural and functional, teams;
Life Science industry experience in an international setting considered advantageous
Strategic thinking and business acumen;
Strong project management skills;
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English language.
