NPI logistics planner

Full-time position

Introduction

As material planner, you will drive NPI (new product introduction) projects from a logistics perspective, in order to plan and handover new releases to our production partner. You will plan and place material commitments for the non-released parts of production, analyze bottlenecks and pro-actively flag or resolve supply chain constraints. You identify improvement opportunities in processes and partner management. Because of your central position, you interact with various internal and external stakeholders, your analytical and structured approach ensures you fix the issues that come your way. You are part of Operations and will join a logistics team with four colleagues and a logistics manager.

What are my tasks & responsibilities?

  • Call-off materials and system configurations to production partner.
  • NPI planning and BOM release management in PDM from a logistics perspective.
  • Bottleneck and safety stock analyses.
  • NPI and logistics projects, including service.
  • Support LUMICKS’ ambitious growth plans by driving continuous improvement.

What about my skills & competencies?

  • Master/Bachelor’s degree related to business administration or supply chains.
  • 2+ years experience in supply chain planning-related function (NPI or PLCM experience is a plus).
  • Excellent communicator on MT and operational level, understand influencing stakeholders.
  • Data analysis skills (Excel and preferably PowerBI or likewise tool).
  • Planning skills / well-structured and solution-oriented.
