acoustic-force-spectroscopy-methods

The second paper on the Acoustic Force Spectroscopy (AFS™) technology has been published in Methods. In “Tuning the Music: Acoustic Force Spectroscopy (AFS) 2.0” Kamsma and his colleagues at VU University Amsterdam describe the latest developments on the technology. In the paper a theoretical model to optimize the AFS™ cell is presented and validated and a novel method for position-dependent force calibration is introduced. Furthermore, they show that for different measurement the force profile can be shaped to suit the purpose. Read the complete article here.
